The second phase of the fair, which ran from October 23 to October 27, focused on household goods, gifts and decorations, building materials, and furniture. The exhibition area spanned a total of 515,000 square meters, showcasing a vast array of products that attracted buyers from all over the world.

One of the highlights of the second phase was the display of an illumination product. Visitors were also treated to a variety of other products, including Christmas ornaments and artificial flowers. Ceramic products were another popular item at the fair.

The Canton Fair is co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of PRC and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province and is organized by China Foreign Trade Centre. It has been a significant event for import and export with China since its inception in 1957.

More than 25,000 exhibitors from around the world attend this twice-yearly market in Guangzhou. The fair has generated immense business dealings in China and continues to attract a global audience with its extensive range of products.

The third phase of the Canton Fair is set to commence on October 31 and will run until November 4. This phase will feature personal care appliances, bathroom products, medicines, health products and medical devices, pet products, maternity and baby products, toys, clothing for men, women, and children, sportswear and casual wear, underwear, fur, leather, down and related products, clothing accessories and fittings, home textiles, textile raw materials and fabrics, carpets and tapestries, shoes, office supplies, bags and suitcases, sports and tourism leisure products, food and rural revitalization¹.

The Canton Fair continues to be a significant event for international trade. Its success is a testament to China’s growing influence in global commerce. As we look forward to the third phase of the fair, we anticipate it will continue to showcase the best of what China has to offer to the world.
